Four architectural garments and two frames the shape of a window. The colors are site specific to the blue walls and brown floor or white walls and grey floor at the venue.

My motivation to develop this piece was working with a stressful dream experience. In the dream, my head was in a tight, awkward position and no matter how much I frantically tried, I was pressed agains a surface in an unhelpful angel failing to proceed. During the dream, I understood this was about my own birth.

In reality, I was born with the help of obstetrical forceps. "Pelvic Floor" was my wish to open a window gradually and have trust in the opening.

When I moved to NYC, the first thing I sewed was a curtain for my new room. I was inspired by the long and narrow shape of the standard NYC window frame potentualy fitting my body in it. I was inspired to sew a garment that is both a dress and a curtain.
